The emergence of LED backlight is indeed one of the best ways to solve this problem in terms of improving the color effect of liquid crystal displays. But in addition to LED backlight, OLED appears to have more advantages. Since LED is similar to OLED, many people think that LED and OLED are the same technology. But in fact, LED and OLED are two completely different things.

The working principle of OLED is to use ITO glass transparent electrode and metal electrode as the anode and cathode of the device respectively. Under a certain voltage drive, electrons and holes are injected from the cathode and anode to the electron transport layer and hole transport layer, respectively, and then migrate to the electron transport layer and the hole transport layer respectively. In the light-emitting layer, excitons are formed when they meet to excite the light-emitting molecules, which emit visible light after being irradiated.
