The development of naked-eye 3D technology in the display field has been difficult. As major TV manufacturers have successively abandoned adding naked-eye 3D technology to TVs, it is also considered to be a display technology that is about to die. However, Japan Display Inc, a Japanese panel company, is still not reconciled, and believes that the combination of abnormal-level clarity and naked-eye 3D will break the limit of the human eye. Recently, news came out that JDI teamed up with Japan's NHK to show a naked-eye 3D display with 8K resolution.

It is reported that Japan's JDI provides an 8K ultra-high-definition display panel with a resolution of 7,680 4,320, while NHK provides naked-eye 3D technology. 8K resolution is equivalent to the number of pixels of 16 FULL HD panels, and it is difficult to observe graininess even when the glasses are placed close to the screen. The naked-eye 3D technology provided by NHK this time also solves the problem of viewing angle range, which has been criticized, and can show 3D effects from almost any angle of the front.

Although people have long been unable to meet the two-dimensional flat display, problems such as technical defects have been restricting the development of naked-eye 3D. The 8K naked-eye 3D display products created by JDI and Japan's NHK this time have broken many technical limitations, and the combination with 8K may open up a new path for the future TV market.
